Hugodesk Privacy Policy
Last updated: 05.10.2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Daniil Petrov, an individual resident in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, trading under the name "Hugodesk" ("Hugodesk", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit hugodesk.com (the "Website"), contact us, book a call, or do business with us. Hugodesk is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by B2Broker.
Who is responsible for your data
For the personal data described in this policy, Hugodesk is the controller. Contact:hello@hugodesk.com. Postal address: 1007,1506 - Jumeirah Village Circle - Dubai.
This policy does not cover personal data of our clients' own customers and partners that we process when providing our services to a broker. In that case the broker is the controller, we act as its processor, and the processing is governed by our Data Processing Agreement with that broker. Questions about that data should go to the broker.
What we collect
Website usage. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. It records aggregated information such as pages viewed, referrer, browser type, country and approximate visit time. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes IP addresses in server logs for security and delivery of the Website.
Information you send us. When you email us or message us, we receive your name, email address, company, job title and anything you choose to include.
Call bookings. When you book a call through our scheduling tool, we receive your name, email address, company, the time you choose and any notes you add.
Business relationship data. If your company becomes a client or prospect, we keep contact details of the people we work with, our correspondence, contracts and invoices.
The Website has no forms, user accounts or advertising trackers, and we do not buy personal data from third parties.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Operating, securing and improving the Website | Our legitimate interest in running a secure and working website |
| Replying to your messages and holding calls you booked | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries |
| Providing services, invoicing and managing the client relationship | Performance of a contract with your company and our legitimate interest in managing it |
| Keeping accounting and tax records | Compliance with legal obligations |
| Establishing or defending legal claims | Our legitimate interest in protecting our rights |
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Cloudflare (website hosting, security and cookieless analytics);
- Google Workspace (email and documents);
- Calendly (call bookings);
- professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
We may also disclose personal data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.
International transfers
We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and some of our providers process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.
How long we keep it
- Email and call-booking data from people who do not become clients: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Client relationship data, contracts and invoices: for the term of the relationship and then for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law.
- Server logs: for the retention period set by Cloudflare, typically a few days to weeks.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), the EU GDPR or the UK GDPR, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent where we rely on consent. To use these rights, email hello@hugodesk.com. We will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use access controls, two-factor authentication on our accounts, encrypted connections and the minimum access needed for each task. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are material, we will say so on the Website.
